PALM Taskboard¶
Description¶
Managers will be able to create employee schedules, manage employee payrolls, and send out global announcements to all employees. Employees will be able to clock in through the application, communicate with the manager(s) or other employees through a chat messenger, and request shift changes. Furthermore, our app will feature an internal job board where users can search and apply for jobs posted by local business owners or managers. We plan on using machine learning to recommend jobs that would be a good "fit" for certain users as well. If a user decides to use the recommendation service, they will be prompted with a questionnaire to gather data for the machine learning model.
